About TIMEmSYSTEM

TIMEmSYSTEM is a market leading provider of Time registration software to the public segment. Our configurable platform helps organizations optimize their workflows and integrate to public and private third-party systems. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive our technological strategy and execution.

TIMEmSYSTEM has been part of Visma for the past 4 years and consists of 26 dedicated employees.

About the Role

As CTO, you will play a central role in shaping and executing TIMEmSYSTEM’s technology vision. You will lead a team of skilled developers and IT professionals, ensuring the continuous evolution of our private cloud-based SaaS platform. You will also collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company to align technical development with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while continuously improving agile workflows. You have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and know how to inspire and motivate your teams to achieve shared goals.

This is primarily an in-office position to foster mentorship, collaboration, and team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop our development team, consisting of 12 skilled developers, focusing on their professional and personal growth.

• Define and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.

• Improve agile processes and methodologies, driving change and enhancements.

• Set clear goals and expectations based on company strategy and follow up on both individual and team performance.

• Build a strong technical culture that attracts and retains top talent.

• Plan resource allocation across projects together with our PO and development coordinator.

• Drive the process of modernization of our code base, in close collaboration with internal and external developers.

• Ensure that developed solutions meet quality standards and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and move people.

• AI is critically important in driving Visma forward and you should be eager to explore and learn how to effectively apply it across the Software Delivery Lifecycle.

• The ability to understand, contribute and communicate the company's vision.

• The ability to translate business needs into a tech roadmap and action, and the ability to translate tech status into business impact.

• High-level understanding of the technological landscape and the ability to understand how to use this context in a beneficial way for the company.

• An outcome-driven mind-set: experience in establishing and working with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or similar is important for this role.

• Experience in technology and architecture, ideally acquired through various roles ranging from software developer and architect to technology management positions.

• Thorough understanding of what drives excellent engineering performance.

• Strong expertise in agile processes and proven success in driving change within these areas.

• Fluent in English and Danish, with the ability to work across international teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Have been part of one or more successful code modernization projects.
