People Manager for Visma Public DK

Hey there! Visma is looking for an experienced, hands-on People Manager in Aarhus, Denmark, to join our leadership team and support the Danish companies in our Public segment. In this role, you’ll act as both a strategic partner and operational HR professional, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of core HR services while driving a strategic HR vision. You'll work closely with the management of our companies in Denmark in an international setting, with plenty of opportunities to grow every day.

What You'll Do
As a People Manager you’ll deliver a blend of strategic vision and day-to-day operations. From recruitment to employee growth and organisational development, you’ll make an impact across the organisation by aligning these functions to our growth objectives.

Strategic & Operational HR Leadership:

• Maintain, further develop and execute a business driven HR strategy and initiatives that support organisational goals

• Oversee daily HR operations to ensure smooth processes across recruitment, on- and offboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations.

Employee Experience:

• Ensure consistent HR practices that enhance employee engagement, growth, and retention.

• Drive internal development programs and L&D initiatives to support skill development.

Organisational Growth & Change:

• Lead change initiatives that drive future growth and help teams adapt to evolving business needs.

• Act as a sparring partner and coach for management, helping to elevate their leadership capabilities.

• Ensure aligned and professional HR processes in potential acquisitions and integrations.

About You

• Experience in HR leadership with a balanced approach to strategy and operational execution

• Qualified in the HR field, with good knowledge of Danish employment law

• Proven success in implementing HR processes

• Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English

• Proactive, pragmatic, and adept at building trust and inspiring teams.

• Ambitious and self-motivated in creating the best results within people & culture - together with the different stakeholders

• Knowledge of the software industry is a plus
